French New Wave

The Art of French New Wave

The one thing that is beautiful about the art of cinema is the way we are able to express ours own being through the art from. There is no limit on what to create, and no say so on how to do it. There is no right way and there is no wrong way. The French New Wave cinematic movement was without a doubt one of the most influential movements in the history of cinema. Brought up in the late 1950's and 1960's, this movement of cinema was classified as more experimental film, jump-cuts, shooting on location, using non-actors etc. Some well known films (their beautiful cinematography as well shown below) such as The 400 Blows, Breathless, and Band of Outsiders, started the most incredible form of cinematic achievement in the art. They almost felt like a documentary in their own effortless ability to do so. I can not wait to watch more films such as these. They're all very important and without a doubt, have something to say even if it is hidden behind the bars.
